The Murano Bandana, Bundled. So...a Bundana?

Fresh off Meg's needles is this spectacular Murano Squares Bandana. "Bandana" is a bit of a misnomer, as it's larger than that implies - more like a cowl, really! Made up of two skeins of contrasting Polka Dot Sheep yarn: one in their Stumptown DK and one in Striata DK Gradient. Both are 100% superwash merino with 231 yards (100g) per skein.

Worked flat with just a tiny bit of seaming at the end (in the back), it's a dreamily simple mosaic project (worked one color per row via the magic of slip stitches) with a maximum WOW factor! We worked ours in the Agpar + Dusty Road combo, but we love the possibilities of all four bundles! Keep in mind that the more solid color in each pairing functions as the grid that "frames" the colorwork that the variegated skein provides. If you're local (or just visiting Music City), definitely stop by and take a look at this one; it's a stunner in person.

You can grab a Murano Squares yarn bundle RIGHT HERE. The pattern is not included in the bundle, but you'll find it RIGHT HERE.

Kakigori Restock! Plus Stuff to Make with It!

We've gotten a major restock of Noro's Kakigori, which is the perfect yarn for two patterns we really love.

First up: Quinny, a top-down stunner with an allover eyelet pattern. You only need one ball of Kakigori for Quinny; our pretty pink one is worked up in 08 Iwaki.

Our second little lovely is the Easy-Peasy Poncho, which is genuinely true to its name: it really is easy-peasy. This one is a great piece for beginners, since it uses just a simple knit stitch and is worked in one piece! The turquoise color shown in the photo has long since been discontinued, but we've got other great options. You'll need two cakes of Kakigori for the Easy-Peasy Poncho.

Kakigori is a DK weight blend of cotton, silk, viscose, and polyamide, hand-dyed in nature-inspired colorways. Since it's mostly cotton, we love this one for late summer and fall accessories. In other words, we love it for right now.

You can find almost a dozen beautiful colors of Kakigori HERE. Buy a single cake of Kakigori and we'll include the pattern for Quinny for free; buy two and we'll include the pattern for the Easy-Peasy Poncho. If you order three, we'll stuff both patterns in the bag because math is hard.

If you're just after the patterns themselves, you can buy them via Ravelry: Quinny and Easy-Peasy.

New Ricorumi Patterns

Meg's ongoing obsession with amigurumi continues unabated and we've gotten a major restock (plus some new!) Ricorumi pattern booklets in, along with a few new additions to the wiiiide color palette of their cotton DK yarn. We particularly love their little set of patterns called Blooming Beauties, a set of floral-inspired sort-of-dolls. Whether it's a snowdrop, a forget-me-not, or a cute daffodil, the easy-to-follow instructions and detailed illustrations make all the models easy to crochet.
