Pure Bliss: Buffalo Check Bliss, That Is!
Haus yarn-slinger extraordinaire Vicki knocked out designer Cally Monster's fantastic Buffalo check-ish bandana-shaped cowl and we just can't keep our eyes (or hands) off of it! Worked up in just four balls (two each, two colors) of Knitting for Olive's Cotton Merino, the yarn for this one comes in at $44, which is about as much bang for the buck as in possible in knitting!
The pattern is written using an interesting "slide-and-turn" method; it might be new to you but it's easy to master! You can grab the Buffalo Check Bliss pattern RIGHT HERE.
While the red and charcoal "lumberjack" combo is a sure bet, we feel like this one can go a lot of ways: try a yellow and grey one for an 80s punk plaid vibe, or go navy blue and charcoal for an end result that glancingly references traditional Black Watch. You can find allllll of the Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino options RIGHT HERE. Remember: you only need two balls each of two colors to get this one done. You'll need a US4 (3.5mm) and yes, of course we have those.

The Marley V-Neck in Tykk Line
You might know that it can be tough to get your hands on some Sandnes Garn patterns stateside, but we do have access to a few of them! One we absolutely love is the oversized Marley V-Neck, worked up in Tykk Line. It's a generously oversized hug-yourself sort of sweater that's a great end-of-summer but heading-into-fall pop-on.
We love Tykk Line for the same reasons we love the original worsted version (regular Line)...and with the added benefit of being a chunky weight, Tykk Line projects just fly off the needles! Made with a cotton/viscose/linen blend (no wool! Good news for you wool allergy sufferers!), it's machine washable. And this particular blend offers the traditional absorbency of cotton and viscose...with a little bit of extra ooh-la-la from the linen.
You can find all of our Tykk Line shades (many of them in sweater quantities!) RIGHT HERE. The sample in the photo is worked up in Almond, by the way. Grab enough for a sweater (15 or more balls) and we'll include a printed copy of the pattern. Refer to the handy chart above for sizing and yardge info.

Haus of Yarn's Car Seat Blanket in Coastal Cotton Ocean Mist
A hefty recent restock of Coastal Cotton Ocean Mist prompts us to remind you about our Car Seat Blanket pattern. It's an easy basketweave project that requires just two skeins of yarn. Coastal Cotton is a sturdy cotton that gets softer and softer with each wash...in other words, perfect for all things "baby"!
We've got Ocean Mist in a wide variety of fun, speckeldy variegated colorways, but there's also a swath of solids too... if that's more your thing.
Find the variegated options of regular Coastal Cotton Ocean Mist RIGHT HERE. The solid Coastal Cottons are RIGHT HERE.
Buy two skeins of regular Coastal Cotton or Coastal Cotton Ocean Mist for the blanket and we'll include a printed copy of the pattern gratis!

Labubu Fever!
We admit it: we are not immune to Labubu fever! Nor is the knitting world, it seems. Head over to Ravelry and take a look! Meg wasted zero minutes casting on a little sweater for her Labubu, and her Lafufu (oh, don't even ask) got both a sweater and a sweet little neckerchief!
We are only publishing this information so you'll know who has and who has not lost her mind. SPOILER ALERT: Meg definitely has.

A Great Chance to Help a Local Yarn Shop!
Our friend Mary Stowe at Yarns, Etc in Chapel Hill recently celebrated her third decade in business...right before Tropical Storm Chantal hit in early July. The interior of the shop flooded with four feet of water. They lost furniture, fixtures and most of their inventory -- a loss of about $45,000. In the aftermath of that, their building was condemned.
But you can't keep a good yarn shop down! They've decided to reopen in a different location so that they can at least take flooding off of the Small Business Worry Menu (it never ends!).
We're passing along their gofundme in the hopes that getting the word out will help them reach their modest goal. They're pretty close to meeting it, but let's help get them over the top and worry about One. Less. Thing.
You can see some of the damage and meet Mary at this WRAL (Raleigh) news link, and you can pitch in to help via their gofundme link. Let's flood them with help; they've had quite enough water. Any donation amount is helpful and appreciated.
