The Coastline Tank

We've had a good run of summer tanks and tees this season...and here's one more! This one's got a free pattern and the yardage required is on the low end, so it's a terrific bargain that's pretty quick to knock out (no sleeves to knit speeds things along).

Davina Choy's Coastline Tank has a lovely little detailed ribbed armhole that sets it apart from other summer tanks but still manages to hit the minimalist notes we always love in a simple top. Toss in a flattering scoop neck and an optional split hem and we're there!

You can find the pattern here. It's free to access the pattern online, or you can opt to purchase a copy for printing at that same link. The pattern is pretty straightforward and is accompanied by a couple of helpful video tutorials if that's your thing.

Coastline is written for Sandnes Garn's Line Worsted, which we just happened to be obsessed with! You can find it RIGHT HERE.  Just check the chart above to figure how many balls you might need; the pattern is written for nine different sizes. The most you'd need for any of them is seven balls of Line; that's a lot of bang for sixty-three bucks worth of yarn! The sample in the photo is worked up in the color called Matcha.

Peter Rabbit, Peter Rabbit, and Peter Rabbit

It was a little bit coincidental - we don't control when the mail shows up! - but the shop all-of-a-sudden has a whole patch of different Peter Rabbit books on the shelf and let us tell you: some of the things in this trio of books are almost criminally adorable. If you've ever awakened and said to yourself "I wish I had an incredibly detailed Squirrel Nutkin doll" (HEY, IT HAPPENS)... today's the day!

You can find all three Peter Rabbit books - options for both knitters and crocheters - RIGHT HERE. Definitely take a look; there are some heirloom-quality projects (toys, blankies, garments) in their pages.
