The Moon Set Tee ... in Pure Silk!

The Moon Set Tee is a classic v-neck with a simple silhouette knit from the top down. It features dropped shoulders and I-cord finishes for a casual look. We have a sample in-store made up in an olive shade that instantly entered our rotation of neutral favorites!

Moon Set is worked up in Knitting for Olive's Pure Silk, which is spun with 100% bourette silk. This fingering weight yarn is perfect for warm weather tops, tanks, cardigans, wraps and scarves.  Bourette is crafted from waste created during silk processing.  It has a pleasing matte finish that's perfect for sophisticated or casual knits.

The combo of pattern and yarn here results in a surprisingly affordable luxury-vibe tee. It's silk, y'all!

You can find yardage/skein count and sizing info by taking a glance at the chart above. You can find Knitting for Olive's Pure Silk RIGHT HERE and the Moon Set Tee pattern is HERE.

Murano Squares is Back! Again!

Back in stock after a lil' gap...the Murano Squares Bandana. "Bandana" is a bit of a misnomer, as it's larger than that implies - more like a cowl, really! Made up of two skeins of contrasting Polka Dot Sheep yarn: one in their Stumptown DK and one in Striata DK Gradient. Both are 100% superwash merino with 231 yards (100g) per skein.

Worked flat with just a tiny bit of seaming at the end (in the back), it's a dreamily simple mosaic project (worked one color per row via the magic of slip stitches) with a maximum WOW factor! We worked ours in the Agpar + Dusty Road combo, but we love the possibilities of all four bundles! Keep in mind that the more solid color in each pairing functions as the grid that "frames" the colorwork that the variegated skein provides. If you're local (or just visiting Music City), definitely stop by and take a look at this one; it's a stunner in person.

You can grab a Murano Squares yarn bundle RIGHT HERE. The pattern is not included in the bundle, but you'll find it RIGHT HERE.

We'll Never Stop Stitch Stopping!

The seemingly endless parade of adorable silicon stitch stoppers continues! We've added funky little leopard-print rabbits to the lineup, as well as several more colors of the ever-popular yarn balls.

Keep your stitches safe with these handy silicon stitch stops! These cute needle point protectors come in sets of two and fit a wide range of knitting needles (US2 - US15). They're stylish and help ensure that your precious stitches stay on the needles when you aren't working on a project. Simply stick your knitting needle points into the hole in the point protector and your stitches will stay secure!

Find them all right HERE. Settle in; there are a lot to look at.

Nash Yarn Fest: Better, Bigger...Back!

Since it's less than six weeks away, it's time to start thinking (and talking!) about Nash Yarn Fest. This year, it's a two-day wingding (Friday, April 17 + Saturday, April 18)...with an added hootenanny (we were determined to use those two descriptors in a sentence). You can find out allllll the details (and find ticket info) RIGHT HERE. There's a vendor list as well - and there's not a dud in the bunch! All winners!

Haus will of course be vending; we're in the same spot as last year (Booth #19)...now with double the booth space! They're moving the main entrance around this year, so if you're trying to find us, just refer to the giant map they'll be handing out...or just remember last year but backwards.

We've got a bunch of us-specific goodies in the works for NYF this year - some of it will be a surprise, some of it we'll be talking about in advance. So keep reading for a bit of that.

See you there!
Twice Sheared Sheep Trunk Show at NYF

Our friends at Twice Sheared Sheep will be in our NYF booth with about ten million little must-have for knitters and crocheters!  We carry a few of their items already, but we're really looking forward to the wide range of what they'll be bringing to our NYF setup. Definitely stop by to enhance your collection of tools!
Also in NYF Booth #19 ... Modus Operandi Fibers!

Our friend Rin from Modus Operandi Fibers will also be in the Haus booth with her amazing naturally-dyed yarns, including this year's edition of Haus Zinnias, a long-standing tradition that she dyes up just for us from zinnia blossoms grown by Meg herself (and some of you!).

MoFibers is only available at Haus of Yarn, so if you've never been in the store to see it, NYF is a great opportunity to meet Rin and eyeball her gorgeous handiwork in person...and grab some of it for yourself!

In the meantime, you can shop all Modus Operandi yarns RIGHT HERE.
