Nash Yarn Fest...Just Around the Corner!
This year, Nash Yarn Fest is a two-day wingding (Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18)...with an additional hootenanny. You can find out allllll the details (and find ticket info) RIGHT HERE. There's a vendor list as well - and there's not a dud in the bunch! All winners!
We absolutely loved being vendors at this event last year, so we're definitely going to be back! We'll be in the same spot as last year (Booth #19)...now with double the booth space! They're moving the main entrance around this year, so if you're trying to find us, just refer to the giant map they'll be handing out...or just remember last year but backwards.
Our great friend RIn from Modus Operandi Fibers will be set up in our booth with her amazing naturally-dyed yarn, including this year's NYF exclusive batch of zinnia-dyed yarn! There are multiple bases and two colorways - Zinnia Dusk and Zinnia Dawn (you can see them in the photo above). These will all debut at Nash Yarn Fest...of course, if there's any left, we'll have it in-store after the show (but look: that's a gamble. This yarn is gorgeous).

It Really is Spring: It's Also Tulip Season!
A recurring scene here at Haus is a single person staring at the massive needle wall, mouth agape. Like choosing a lipstick-for-life, there's a lot to think about when choosing an interchangeable needle set and then, oh, ten thousand follow-ups and what-ifs that come with every single answer, no matter which way we point you. Sometimes we just point you to ourfavorite, because everyone has a favorite!
Our Mama Jo's favorite was the CarryC set from Tulip, a gorgeous bamboo set with tapered tips and particularly smooth joins (a bugaboo that a lot of people get hung up on - literally! - with some other brands). The CarryC needles also feature trouble-free rotary cables that won't twist while you're knitting. Added bonus: you don't need a special tool to attach a needle tip. It's really just a terrific set and every aspect of it is thoughtfully designed.
Find Tulip CarryC interchangeable knitting needle sets RIGHT HERE! And if crochet floats your boat more than knitting, we also carry Tulip's fantastic CarryT Tunisian Crochet set as well! You can find that HERE.

Tilly: Again with This!
We talked about Tilly in Eco Twist just two weeks ago and the resulting Tilly Tsunami was A REAL THING, y'all! We've restocked Eco Twist as fast as possible, so if you missed out on a favorite shade, give it another look!
Tilly is a simple top with some lovely simple lace detail, knit in the round from the top down. A few short rows are worked across the upper back for slight shaping. That top down business allows you to to try it on as you knit, which helps determine the length that suits your personal preference best! Knit at a loose gauge, we love it because it works up quickly and is a great layering piece. Sizing ranges from a 50" to a 71 1/2" circumference; it's intended to be worn with a little swing, so you'll want to choose a size that measures at least 10" larger than what you measure at your fullest bust measurement.
Our sample (on the left in the above photo) is worked up in Eco Twist, a rayon, cotton and linen blend that's practically designed for a summer top! It's a charming, colorful variegated yarn that goes great with jeans...but it dresses up just fine as well! Refer to the size chart above for sizing and yardage info. You can find Eco Twist RIGHT HERE.

Block-a-Month Knitalong REMINDER: April!
If you're Block-a-Monthing, just a quick reminder that April's in-store meetup is next Monday (April 6) at 11am right here up in the Haus! If you need the lowdown on what all of that means, check the lead story in Newsletter 910 (you can find that RIGHT HERE). Even if you missed that info the first time around, you haven't missed out on the KAL. This is a yearlong project. You can jump in at any time and catch up (or not, it doesn't matter!) at your own speed.
April's block is Block 4: Boxes. It's an easy month of simple knits and purls -- and don't forget: since this is the fourth and last block in the first strip, you can bind this one off!
The majority of knitalongers so far are using Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash, but remember: any worsted yarn you want to use is the right answer! Some folks are working it up in Ultra Alpaca, some in Knitting for Olive's Heavy Merino. Just remember: you need about 200 yards for each block. Plymouth Worsted Merino Superwash has been restocked in tsunami-ish quantities...so if you were waiting on a particular color...
Again, you'll find alllll the details for this KAL in Newsletter 910. You can find the Block-a-Month Afghan book RIGHT HERE.

The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour: 2026 Edition!
The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour is in its third year and Haus is happy to be included on the tour schedule this year! The GTYT happens over the entire month of August and is a great opportunity for fiber enthusiasts of all stripes to visit LYSs across the state - there are twenty-one stops on the tour this time around! There are prizes and specials and each shop will have special mini-skeins available only to Tourists; minis make for great souvenirs! Haus is alsoworking on a super-special (but still under wraps) trunk show that'll be in-store for the entire month of August, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that.
Tickets for the Great Tennessee Yarn Tour must be purchased in advance; they're available now through June 1 and you can grab yours RIGHT HERE. Definitely click that "How to Tour" link under Tour Details to see how it all works! This is a great event, and if you can do it with a gaggle of friends, it's even better!
