Nash Yarn Fest...Just Around the Corner!
This year, Nash Yarn Fest is a two-day wingding (Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18)...with an additional hootenanny. You can find out allllll the details (and find ticket info) RIGHT HERE. There's a vendor list as well - and there's not a dud in the bunch! All winners!
We absolutely loved being vendors at this event last year, so we're back again. We'll be in the same spot as last year (Booth #19)...now with double the booth space! They're moving the main entrance around this year, so if you're trying to find us, just refer to the giant map they'll be handing out...or just remember last year but backwards.

Two Tees for NYF, the Shop . . . and Summer!
Terrific friend-of-Haus Lisa dropped off some seasonally spot-on samples for us to take to NYF. We had mentioned to her that we wanted to focus on cotton-forward options at this year's fest and boy did she deliver! Both of these are worked up in Sandnes Garn's Line Worsted and are beautifully detailed additions to a capsule wardrobe. You'll pop them on again and again and wonder why you have any other clothes at all! We'll have these samples - and the yarn! - in Booth 19 at NYF...or you can just click through and grab what you need right this very second.
First Up: the Ebba Tee!
Sari Nordlund's Ebba Tee is a top-down seamless bit of magic that only looks like cables. It's actually just a bit of easy lace. You can find the pattern for the Ebba Tee RIGHT HERE. Yarn quantity info is above! This one is a beauty in neutral shades; Lisa worked hers in Kitt, a color that's been backordered forever - but the Ebba Tee looks great in just about any solid. The better to show off that fancy lace business!
Neeeeexxxxt: Albina!
Caitlin Hunter's Albina is a gorgeous, well-designed longer-sleeved tee with pretty (but low-key!) ribbed detailing around the neckline; this one is whisper, not a shout. And look: it's got Meg written all over it.
It's written as a striped tee; Lisa worked it up as a solid (in Matcha) and our chart reflects generous yarn quantities for the solid version. (If you wanna do a striped one, just grab the pattern and do a tiny bit of math - knitting is math; you'll of course need more of your MC than the CC to accommodate the collar and ribbing at the bottom). You can find the pattern for Albina RIGHT HERE. Yarn quantity info for the solid version is above!
Line Worsted is a light worsted that can stand in for DK if the pattern is just right (as in these two cases!). It's got a summery vibe with its cotton/viscose/linen blend. You can find it - in one hundred million colors - RIGHT HERE.

Last Week, Zinnias and Tulips. This Week: Black Eyed Susans!
Also making an appearance at NYF this year will be these juicily-colored "Black-Eyed Susan" canvas totes and zip pouches. These caught our eye for several reasons: the hand-drawn art is gorgeous, the sizes are generous and the price is almost unbelievable!
Hand-screened in Bucks County, PA by the team at Eric & Christopher, these are carry-arounds that you can use for just about anything (though of course we're gonna mention that you can definitely fit a sweater-sized project in the tote!).
Two formats - tote and travel pouch - in three colors each: Sunshine Yellow, Orange Peel and Coral Pink. The tote is approximately 17" x 16" x 6" and features an interior pocket and a D-ring for key-clipping. The zipped pouch is 12" x 9". Each Eric & Christopher piece is silk-screened by hand; no two are alike!
Find them in Booth 19 at NYF...but we've also got a few in the shop RIGHT NOW if you know how to click a link! :)

A Menagerie of Tape Measures
We really do talk about tape measures a lot. WE KNOW. But just look at them!
For the first time in a hot minute, we have all five of our favorite crocheted tape measures in stock. Each 60" measure features both inches and centimeters and retracts by pressing a magic button. Grab one while you can because these never last long!

The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour: 2026 Edition!
The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour is in its third year and Haus is happy to be included on the tour schedule this year! The GTYT happens over the entire month of August and is a great opportunity for fiber enthusiasts of all stripes to visit LYSs across the state - there are twenty-one stops on the tour this time around! There are prizes and specials and each shop will have special mini-skeins available only to Tourists; minis make for great souvenirs! Haus is alsoworking on a super-special (but still under wraps) trunk show that'll be in-store for the entire month of August, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that.
Tickets for the Great Tennessee Yarn Tour must be purchased in advance; they're available now through June 1 and you can grab yours RIGHT HERE. Definitely click that "How to Tour" link under Tour Details to see how it all works! This is a great event, and if you can do it with a gaggle of friends, it's even better!
