Nash Yarn Fest...Just Around the Corner!
This year, Nash Yarn Fest is a two-day wingding (Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18)...with an additional hootenanny. You can find out allllll the details (and find ticket info) RIGHT HERE. There's a vendor list as well - and there's not a dud in the bunch! All winners!
We absolutely loved being vendors at this event last year, so we're back again. We'll be in the same spot as last year (Booth #19)...now with double the booth space! They're moving the main entrance around this year, so if you're trying to find us, just refer to the giant map they'll be handing out...or just remember last year but backwards.

At NYF: Malibu-bu-bu. That's 3 Malibus!
If you've taken Kendall's Crochet 102 class, you might already have a nodding acquaintance with this trio of Wool and the Gang's Malibu patterns. But if not...they're new to you! We'll have everything you need for a Malibu at NYF, but if you can't make it to the festival itself, you can find it all via the webshop as well!
All three Malibu formats - pullover, cardigan and vest - make the most of WATG's Shiny Happy Cotton, a soft and sleek 100% cotton with beautiful drape. It comes in almost 30 (!) colors; the Malibu patterns call for seven different ones, so there are plenty of combinations! You can refer to the charts above for quantity info and find the yarn RIGHT HERE.
We've got printed copies of the pullover sweater and cardigan patterns; you can find those as variants at the bottom of the listing RIGHT HERE, along with the yarn! Digital versions of those two (and the vest) are also available via Ravelry: Malibu Sweater (pullover), Malibu Cardigan, Malibu Vest.

Not Rhoda. It's Rota!
Another cotton-forward project we'll have in the NYF booth (it's in-store now as well) is Meg's spectacular version of Irene Lin's Rota Jumper, a cropped lil' open-weave number that looks great with all-the-rage high-waisted pants or a skirt. You can adjust the length to your own taste since it's knit from the top down, though. If you came of age in the 80s and never wanna see a high-waisted pant again, we get it!
We used Aran weight Tykk Line for this one; it's a shop favorite blend of cotton, rayon and linen that we just can't quit. Which is coming in handy for every third thing we're making for summer this year! Definitely pop by Booth 19 at NYF (or into the Haus mothership) to take a look at this sample. Or, if you're a nervous sort, just refer to the yardage chart above and click on the links below to grab what you need.
You can find Tykk Line RIGHT HERE. The Rota pattern is RIGHT HERE.

Mix + Match: Modern Crochet Blankets
The rise in interest in crochet lately is almost tsunami-like in scale. It's astonishing, really! And with it has come a matching wave of interest in some fantastic recent-ish crochet books. We mentioned Granny Stitch Blankets just a few weeks ago, and this week brought us a box of Mix + Match: Modern Crochet Blankets.
Mix + Match features ideas for doing exactly what the title hints at: mixing and matching modular strips until you've got a blanket that's yours and yours alone! Each strip pattern is given in US crochet terms (with both a written pattern and a chart) for making a standard throw-blanket-width strip (approximately 40" wide). Advice is given on adjusting the width of the strips for smaller or larger blankets.

The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour: 2026 Edition!
The Great Tennessee Yarn Tour is in its third year and Haus is happy to be included on the tour schedule this year! The GTYT happens over the entire month of August and is a great opportunity for fiber enthusiasts of all stripes to visit LYSs across the state - there are twenty-one stops on the tour this time around! There are prizes and specials and each shop will have special mini-skeins available only to Tourists; minis make for great souvenirs! Haus is alsoworking on a super-special (but still under wraps) trunk show that'll be in-store for the entire month of August, so keep your eyes peeled for more info on that.
Tickets for the Great Tennessee Yarn Tour must be purchased in advance; they're available now through June 1 and you can grab yours RIGHT HERE. Definitely click that "How to Tour" link under Tour Details to see how it all works! This is a great event, and if you can do it with a gaggle of friends, it's even better!
