The Haus of Yarn Yearlong Knitalong: JUNE Edition!

Join us in the store today -- Monday, June 12th -- at 11:00 am as we begin the next installment of the Yearlong Knitalong! We'll be working on the By the Sea Baby Blanket designed by Shayron! Knit with just three skeins of Mondial Biosoft Organic Cotton, a 100% certified organic and non-GMO cotton yarn, it's buttery soft and ideal for baby blankets, midseason sweaters and cardigans for cool summer evenings.

Not interested in making a sweater? You can still join the Yearlong Knitalong with an afghan block pattern from the Haus of Yarn Block-a-Month Afghan book. The Block-a-Month Knitalong meets at 1:00 pm today -- Monday, June 12th.

Remember: attendance for Knitalong Mondays is always free! As a genuine 'thank you!' for your participation, all materials purchased at Haus of Yarn that relate directly to each month's knitalong will qualify for double stamps on our Haus of Yarn Reward Card. DOUBLE STAMPS! We really do appreciate your participation and want to encourage as many of you to make as many of the monthly projects as possible. Earning double stamps will make it that much easier!

Not local? No worries! Join the Yearlong Knitalong virtually. Click here to join our group and come knit along with us!

We'd love to see your projects! In process or completed...if you're on Instagram, join in anytime with #yearlongknitalong and #hausofyarntn.

Just choose which one - Fingerless Mitts or the Cabled Hat - you'd like to knit for yourself or give as a gift..and all for just $20! TWENTY DOLLARS!

Fixing Mistakes

Fixing Mistakes!

Let's face it: we ALL make mistakes when we knit. We drop a stich or forget a yarnover and don't see it until the next row...and sometimes we're not quiiiite sure how to fix it! If this sounds a little too familiar to you, you need to take Sue's class! If you take just ONE class this year...we think this one is THE ONE! It's a super-empowering feeling when you make a mistake but you know you can, in fact, fix it! Saturday, June 17th, 11am-1pm, $45. Call the shop to register! 615-354-1007. Note: there's homework required for this one, you'll find the details here.
