Quechua

New Yarn: Quechua!

Quechua from Berroco is a mix of Merino, alpaca and yak that blends together in this sport-weight yarn to create a luscious, light-weight option -- just in time for fall crafting! If you need a little inspiration, take a look at the Quechua Pattern Collection, a group of six patterns that vary from simple, timeless staple projects to jaw-dropping statement pieces...all designed to take advantage of the incredible stitch definition and cozy warmth that Quechua provides. Our favorite is the Chichima shawl, knit with 5 skeins (3 skeins for the main color, 2 for the contrasting one), which is an easy-wearing crescent shape that incorporates a variety of classic stitch patterns. We've pictured it here in the Stockholm & Royal colorways.

Fixing Mistakes

Fixing Mistakes!

Let's face it: we ALL make mistakes when we knit. We drop a stitch or forget a yarnover and don't see it until the next row...and sometimes we're not quiiiite sure how to fix it! If this sounds a little too familiar to you, you need to take Sue's class! Saturday, September 23rd, 11am - 1pm, $45. Call the shop to register! 615-354-1007

*There's homework required for this one, you'll find the details here.
