Koigu Collector's Club: April Edition!

The Koigu Collector's Club is a monthly limited edition one-of-a-kind themed colorway of Koigu Painters palette Premium Merino (KPPPM), hand dyed by Taiu Landra, co-owner of Koigu Wool Designs. Each colorway is created exclusively for Koigu-stocking LYS's.  April's theme: Rebirth...pastel colors inspired by all things Spring! There are also still a few skeins available of the February and March colors, Vitamin D and Ocean; grab 'em before they're gone, gone, gone!

Yearlong Knitalong: May!

Join us next Monday, May 6, from 11:00 am until noon for the May installment of the Haus of Yarn Yearlong Knitalong; we'll be working on a set of Mosaic Dishcloths. We love these small, portable cloths and they're the perfect project to try a new-to-you technique that only looks complicated. We promise, they are waaaaaay easier than they look! Pick one design and join us! Warning: they are quite addictive and you'll end up making all four!

Garter Mosaic Dishcloth, made entirely in garter stitch (no purling!); slipped stitches create a geometric mosaic design.

Dancing Dots Dishcloth, made entirely in garter stitch (no purling!); this dishcloth has a great texture created when slipped stitches result in little dots that seem to dance around each other.

Up the Ladder Dishcloth, knits and purls; slipped stitches highlight a ladder-like texture.

Fancy Beads Dishcloth, knits and purls where the little purl stitches look like teensy dots!
Yarn Suggestions: Two skeins (one each of two colors) of Pima 100 from Berroco will yield four dishcloths! We used #8406 Stone Crop & #8431 Chrysanthemum. We have over thirty colors of Pima 100 in stock - don't forget to pick two!!
