New at Haus: Fun Fun Jewelspun!

New to Haus this week is Jewelspun Aran, a super-soft 100% acrylic with a handspun look - an unique combo we couldn't resist adding to our lineup. It's got a whopping 546 yards per ball, which makes it a great, economical choice for blankets and sweaters alike - as well as almost any accessory you can think of. It's got a seductive color-changing quality that keeps you stitching just to see what color comes next!

They've released a handful of patterns written specifically for Jewelspun for knitters and crocheters - take a look at the four above and check out the corresponding pattern links below.

A The Sunset Stroll Snood is knit using just one ball of Jewelspun!
B The Ornamentals Blanket features a Bavarian crochet stitch and uses six balls of Jewelspun.
C The Moon & Stars Cardigan is a stylish crochet cardi that uses 3-4 balls.
D The Best in Show Shawl takes just two balls to crochet!

Find Jewelspun RIGHT HERE. We've got eight colors, but we'll add more if you folks take to it!

Borrego de la Fortuna! It's a Sheep!

From Celina Mancourti - we told you about her awesome totes last week, and they are flying out of here! - comes this adorable handmade little sheep...called a Borrego de la Fortuna.

Rooted in Mexican tradition, the Borrego de la Fortuna is a symbol of abundance, good luck, and financial prosperity. Inspired by the belief that sheep bring wealth, protection, and stability, these little ornaments are often given to attract success and fortune in a new home, business, or life venture.

Our Borregos de la Fortuna are handcrafted with wool and wire in Tampa, so each is slightly different (because of the "handcrafted," not the "Tampa"). These make great gifts, and a flock of them would look great on your mantel as well; they'll easily transition into holiday decor as that time of year approaches.

You can find one - or more - RIGHT HERE.
