These whimsical designs are handmade by knitting artisans in Lima and in remote rural villages in Peru. This company (Mélange) works closely with organizations dedicated to empowering women through income-generating projects. They enjoy a safe work environment and earn a living wage with a respect for their cultural traditions.

The owls feature smiling eyes, head tufts, and stitched feather bellies and are about 3.5" high. The 3.8" tall sheep is all cuddled up in a colorful scarf and the 4" cocoa-drinking rabbit is be-scarved as well.

A note about the white and grey bunnies: each is sold separately. Each bunny's accessory is unique - the flowers on the white ones and the bow ties on the grey ones are different colors, and some wear scarves.
